Samsung Galaxy S2 which is considered as a tough competitor for the upcoming Apple iPhone 5 is due to its launch in US on 18th September. Some are addressing Galaxy S2 as ‘iPhone killer’. So, lets have a comparison of the Specifications and features of these two smartphones:
User Interface: - Samsung Galaxy S2 has a 4.3 - inch Super AMOLED Plus display whereas the iPhone5 will have latest version of Apple’s Touchscreen interface, an improved user interface compared to the its previous release – iPhone 4 and iPhone is expected to have a 4-inch display.
Operating System: - Galaxy S2 runs newest version of Android OS where the Apple iPhone 5 runs iOS 5.
Apps:- Galaxy S2 running Android OS is said to provide quality apps for free. But the disadvantage here is that it more of the third party Apps which is unsafe. iPhone 5 Apps has thousands of true and secured Apps most of them are free of cost.
Hardware:- iPhone5 comes with the fastest processor, greater screen resolution, a good antenna receptor, 1GB RAM and longer battery life. Whereas the Galaxy S2 comes with 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm APQ8060 processor, 1GB RAM and 1850 mAh battery.
Connectivity:- Galaxy S2 sports Bluetooth 3.0, 3G data speeds up to 21 Mbps, Wi-Fi Direct while iPhone 5 is expected to offer advanced connectivity features than iPhone4.
We have to wait and see for release of both the crazy smartphones. Which smartphone wins the competition, Apple iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S2?
